I Love Vietnamese Food

This is typical food from Hoi An in Vietnam; it is called Fried Wontons. It is topped with a sauce of tomatoes, onions and garlic, and it was very good as an appitizer. I actually almost made to try all of the specialties from Hoi An, and they were pretty good all of them, but I'm not that good at remembering taking pictures. The beer on the picture is Biere Larue, local beer from Hoi An.

Vietnam has a lot more to offer.

In Mekong Delta we got to make our own spring roll with chicken.

You roll it like this -

And then you fry them until they turn out like this. Yammy!

You can also make fresh springrolls with noodles and salad and dip it in sauce, the mint leaves are essential. Also delicious!

They have even Horney Banana and Mango Flambe in Vietnam;)

And I just love the coffee!! Which is also quite easy to make in the heat. Hmm, I think maybe there is a coffeemaker like this waiting for me when I get back. We'll see if I'll ever use it

With all the sea surrounding Vietnam, they do have some really good seafood as well!

More seafood; Hot Pot!

Typical Vietnamese breakfast, they mix it all and eat it. Have to be honest and say that I never tried this. I justed ended up ordering something else than chilli and noodles with all kinds of vegetables and herbs for breakfast.

At last we have the Vietnamese pancakes which are really good. I wish I was able to upload my video on how you eat them, but it's just not possible. But you pretty much take a pancake along with some meat, salad, cucumbers and herbs and roll it in a kind of fresh springroll. Then you dip it in the soursweet sauce and enjoy!:)
